The Road

the pattern on the road could be the memory of an old life.

that once lived on this universe. the scrapes and marks represent the steps

of people, of great people, of even yourself. it's a break in the surface as if lifted the road that was over it. to have a little memory of what was once there. it was as if it was trying to break free like the souls that are trapped in purgatory ready to get out. in a way it also symbolizes that being you is the way to live. because that one little change in the road differentiates it from all the others, same as you being yourself.
